Light-speed space battles and futuristic architecture aside,
Drift is ultimately about the human experience. Existence is intense- and it often seems that we as humans spend most of our lives rationalizing what we don't understand when what ultimately defines us all is our collective response to the unknown. Who we are, why we are, when we are, etc. may all demand a little more personal interpretation than we care to believe. The themes of
Drift - no matter how obtuse- are about embracing these defining moments in a universe that doesn't discriminate either way.
All conceptual soapboxing aside, preparing
Drift often felt like being in the Drift itself. And as I write this, I realize that attempting to accessibly explain my creative process using the same fictional idea that I am trying to explain is about as
Drifty as it gets- but there you have it. We hope you enjoy.

We all deal with the passage of time, and have to live with our memories - both good and bad - every day. These are uncontrollable forces that define our lives and ourselves.
Drift proposes a world where those forces might be confronted directly, and explores just how vast and consequential our relationships are with the moments that define us.
